Our Big Movie Star had a hard time adjusting to all the Talk Talk Talk! in the talking pictures, so her well-meaning, penny-pinching agent suggested she “try sing the words instead of sayin’ ’em!”

“Money has to be made! If you don’t make it on the silver screen, you hoof it on the stage. If not on stage then on the street. But, sweets you won’t catch this fool poundin’ the sidewalk – Ha!”
